CHANCELLOR TRAVELS T RTS ALUMNI DRAWING NEW BOOKLET IN SERIES BY DR. MIKE MILTON JUST RELEASED Continuing the familiar “Basics of the Reformed Faith” series, P&R Publishing announces the release of What is Perseverance of the Saints? by Dr. Mike Milton. The publisher notes: "In pastoral style with concise clarity, Dr. Milton defines the famous 'Fifth Point of Calvinism' and distinguishes it from other theologies (including 'once saved always saved'). What is Perseverance of the Saints? explores difficult, commonly-asked questions such as: Can a believer be given the gift of faith and then lose it? Is it possible for a Christian to fall from grace? What about the passages that urge Christians to stay true to the end? What about the real cases we know—people who sat beside us in the pew one Sunday, but left and rejected Jesus the next? Milton presents four aspects of the doctrine of perseverance: A definition of the doctrine, distortions of the doctrine, a defense from the Word of God, and finally, delight in the doctrine."
